Workshop on pandoc, a tool for authoring academic documents using plain text, by its author John MacFarlane, chair of philosophy at University of California, Berkeley

John MacFarlane, chair of the philosophy department at the University of California, Berkeley and author of numerous pieces of software for humanities research, is visiting the Group for Experimental Methods in the Humanities. He will give a presentation on pandoc, a tool for authoring academic documents using plain text, and lead a workshop on writing filters for pandoc.

The event will take place next Wednesday, March 25 at Columbia’s Butler Library, room 208b, 4:30p.
